Overview

The Senior Staff Engineer, SAP GTS & Compliance Solutions in Information Systems is a critical role that serves as the primary bridge between the Compliance department and the Information Technology (IT) organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that all global trade compliance requirements are effectively integrated into our systems, processes, and digital transformations.

• Serve as the key subject matter expert (SME) for global trade compliance on all relevant IT and digitalization initiatives.
• Partner with IT, logistics, supply chain, and product development teams to design and implement trade-compliant solutions.
• Lead compliance impact assessment and requirement gathering for new projects or upgrades.
• Develop and execute test scripts (UAT) to validate compliance checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to trade compliance systems.
• Continuously analyze system performance and data integrity for improvements.
• Provide expert advice and training on compliance systems.
• Support audits and internal assessments with system-generated data.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in global trade compliance with SAP knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Global Trade Services (GTS).
• Strong business process and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of management.
• Self-starter able to work independently.
• Good team player with a proactive nature.
