Senior/Staff Solutions Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Work directly with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs.
• Provide compelling value-based demonstrations and support Proof of Concepts.
• Present Pinecone technology to officials and technical contributors.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Maintain a deep understanding of competitive technologies.
• Immerse yourself in the Data Cloud space.
• Work hands-on with customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Communicate Pinecone's solutions effectively to customers.
• Have flexibility and willingness to jump in and get things done.
• Based in EST.

Requirements

• 5+ years of enterprise experience with 3+ years in a pre-sales environment.
• Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience with large-scale Database and Data Warehouse technology.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
• Ability to connect business problems with Pinecone’s solutions.
• Broad knowledge of cloud platforms; AWS, Azure & GCP preferred.
• University degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
• Skills in Data Science and Data Applications Development a bonus.
