Overview

The Account Manager II is responsible for managing and selling Renaissance Learning’s products and services, focusing on Practice and Instruction, within an assigned territory, and achieving revenue goals.

In Short

  • Drive new business, cross/up-sell and renewal opportunities.
  • Consultative solution selling aligned to customer needs.
  • Close business and develop persuasive presentations.
  • Deep knowledge of K-12 education space.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ed tech tools and trends.
  • Build rapport and credibility with customers.
  • Regular travel for customer engagements and conferences.
  • Work with Customer Success partners.
  • Maintain high product renewal rates.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience.
  • Proficient in collaboration tools (e.g., Outlook, Slack).
  • Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of education customers and their structures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
