Overview

The Lifecycle Specialist, Employee Relations and Transitions manages employee exits for Remote's external employees with a focus on legal compliance and providing delightful customer service. This role is part of a larger employee Lifecycle team and contributes to process improvements and initiatives in line with Remote's strategic goals and values.

In Short

  • Manage end-to-end employee exits across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Provide guidance on HR matters including terminations and employment contracts.
  • Lead meetings with clients and external employees regarding terminations.
  • Negotiate positive outcomes in complex termination situations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure compliance in offboarding activities.
  • Draft and manage termination documents accurately.
  • Be the subject-matter expert on offboarding matters.
  • Support clients with employee relations issues.
  • Actively identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Work autonomously in a fast-paced remote environment.

Requirements

  • Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner.
  • Strong background in managing employee exits with legal compliance.
  • Ability to analyze complex HR issues and provide solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Business-level proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Aptitude for innovation and process optimization.
  • Tech-savvy and able to work asynchronously.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable.
