Overview

The Manager, Sales will drive growth and accelerate Platform.sh’s market presence in the DACH region, taking ownership of the entire sales cycle and ensuring a seamless transition to post-sales teams.

In Short

  • Develop and execute a territory plan for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for a cohesive customer journey.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations to customers.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitors.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Represent Platform.sh at regional events.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records and forecasts.
  • Drive new subscription revenue and exceed sales goals.
  • Lead and coach a small team of Sales Executives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of success in technology-focused enterprise sales in the DACH region.
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Passion for solving business challenges with technology.
  • Comfortable with technical conversations in cloud and web solutions.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Ability to generate and manage a high-quality sales pipeline.
  • Skilled in solution and value selling methodologies.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to results.
  • Goal-oriented with a desire to exceed expectations.
  • Proficient with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
