Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our UK-based financial solutions company. This is a fully remote role, based in South Africa, working UK hours (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm).

In Short

  • Proactively cold call potential clients to generate leads and build new business relationships.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients to understand their funding requirements and present tailored financial solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote our suite of funding options, including start-up loans, unsecured and secured loans, working capital, invoice finance, merchant credit advances, angel investment, and asset finance.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and attract new clients.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through to closing deals and after-sales support.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to prospective clients.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets through strategic planning and effective sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the finance or funding sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in cold calling and lead generation.
  • Strong understanding of various funding solutions, including start-up and asset finance.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A self-starter with a passion for helping businesses thrive.
  • Own laptop and reliable internet connection are essential.
