In Short

• Position is remote, targeting candidates in LATAM.
• Manage various areas of the backend platform, including API integrations.
• Work with the User Tribe to enhance user access to Rain.
• Collaborate with international product and engineering teams.
• Design and implement reliable systems in a distributed micro-services architecture.
• Build and maintain integrations with 3rd-party vendors.
• Focus on creating reusable code and libraries.
• Enforce observability best practices.
• Monitor systems for performance and scalability improvements.
• Cross-team communication to align priorities and clarify requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in back-end programming languages (Go, Java, Python, C++).
• Strong expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Ability to build reliable and scalable user-facing applications.
• Proficiency in distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Excellent collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
