Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

Rain is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Data Analyst to join our Business Operations team. This role involves analyzing product, user, and transactional data to uncover insights that will shape strategy and optimize growth.

In Short

• Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets
• Define, build, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Create and maintain automated dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Looker, Metabase)
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on user behavior, funnels, and customer segmentation
• Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests
• Measure campaign effectiveness, analyze Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and model Lifetime Value (LTV)
• Work with Engineering to ensure data accuracy and reliability
• Translate complex findings into clear narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role
• Expert-level SQL skills, capable of writing complex queries
• Experience creating dashboards using tools like Looker or similar
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
• Strong understanding of statistical principles and experience with A/B testing
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems into data-driven projects
