In Short

• Diagnose, isolate, and debug conversion and software problems.
• Design and build reusable processes for future conversion projects.
• Gather requirements for internal and external system interfaces.
• Modify insurance administration systems to meet business requirements.
• Research and evaluate information for complex systems.
• Construct and test system changes.
• Provide thorough documentation for programming changes.
• Understand customer needs and provide quality support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of experience with Annuity Systems.
• Master’s degree in lieu of a Bachelor’s with 8 years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge of annuity and life insurance products.
• 8 years coding in DXC’s wMA or Vantage Administration system.
• 8 years coding in LIDP’s Administrator System (ADMI).
• 8 years of COBOL experience, especially with Micro Focus COBOL.
• 5 years experience with life insurance administration system conversions.
• 5 years experience with policy administration ancillary systems.
• 5 years debugging life insurance administration systems.
• 5 years working with database and mainframe data structures.
