Overview

Sentara is Gastroenterology Specialists Port Warwick II in Newport News, VA looking to hire a Registered Nurse. The RN is responsible for performing competent nursing care using the nursing process and maintaining standards of professional performance.

In Short

• Full-time position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday.
• Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, and implementation of patient care.
• Must obtain ACLS within 1 year of hire for Critical Care and Emergency Care.
• Preferred experience in Gastroenterology and inpatient procedures.
• Education: 2-year RN associate degree required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Virginia or multi-state RN licensure required.
• Direct Care RNs must have BLS within 90 days of hire.

Requirements

• 2-year RN associate degree or higher.
• Valid Virginia or multi-state RN licensure.
• ACLS certification within 1 year for Critical Care.
