Direct Care Registered Nurse - Remote

Overview

Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Direct Care Registered Nurse. This position requires performing a competent level of nursing care and maintaining standards of practice.

In Short

• Full-time position with standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
• Travel within Hampton Roads is required.
• Responsible for performing nursing care based on critical thinking and nursing process.
• Must maintain certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified timeframes.
• Preferred education includes BSN or MSN.
• 1 year of nursing experience is preferred.

Requirements

• RN Diploma, Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree is required.
• Must have RN license in VA, NC, or multi-state.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 1 year for specific specialties.
• Experience in critical care or emergency care is preferred.
• Must meet specialty requirements for various clinical areas.
• Commitment to professional performance standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Must be able to provide culturally competent care.
