Overview

Sentara Medical Group is seeking to hire an individual to join our team as a Direct Care Registered Nurse, responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care and meeting standards as required by specific clinical areas.

In Short

• Full-time position with standard working hours Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
• Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Must possess clinical knowledge and skills relevant to nursing standards.
• Preferred qualifications include BSN or MSN and various certifications.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse License (RN) in NC or VA or Multi-State.
• BLS Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred BSN or MSN with relevant nursing experience.
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus.
• Community Event experience is preferred.
• Must meet specific clinical area requirements upon hire.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
