Overview

As a Controller at Propeller Industries, you will oversee financial operations for growth stage companies, ensuring efficient resource use and high-quality deliverables.

In Short

• Manage engagement teams across US and international personnel.
• Delegate work to ensure efficient resource use.
• Provide mentorship and identify development opportunities.
• Oversee P&L management and optimize business unit efficiency.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Customer Experience teams.
• Ensure high client satisfaction and extend client lifecycle.
• Involved in client conversion cycle and develop service offerings.
• Conduct periodic reviews for learning opportunities.
• Work with QC team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Actively participate in professional development.

Requirements

• 7-9 years of experience in finance, preferably with startups.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and operational impacts.
• Experience with Series B and C companies.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 and revenue recognition.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to develop processes.
• Knowledge of CPG, E-commerce, and Tech industries.
• Comfortable with DTC and wholesale sales channels.
• Audit experience is a plus.
• Understanding of sales tax implications.
