VBC Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Population Health Analytics team at Privia Health is seeking a Data Engineer to modernize and centralize analytics efforts, providing creative freedom and collaboration within a diverse team.

In Short

• Collaborate to develop data solutions for analytics.
• Guide technical decisions to improve VBC analytics.
• Implement new technologies as needed.
• Contribute high-quality, well-tested code.
• Own application code for team use.
• Guide best practices in code maintenance.
• Troubleshoot data errors and anomalies.
• Integrate disparate data assets.
• Design KPIs for VBC processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in Python for data engineering.
• 2+ years experience with SQL.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with large datasets, preferably in healthcare.
• Familiarity with DBT and data validation frameworks.
• Experience with R or SAS is a plus.
• Experience with cloud computing, especially GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
