Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

Link Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team at Fort Stewart, GA. This role is critical to enabling real-time decision-making through the modernization of cloud and on-premises data architectures.

In Short

• Support the Army’s Southeast Region Network Enterprise Center (RNEC).
• Develop and manage scalable data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience in ETL development and cloud-based data platforms.
• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with DoD data governance policies.
• Provide documentation for data workflows.
• Must be a US Citizen with clearance required.
• Remote permitted, on-site preferred.

Requirements

• Eight (8+) years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud data services like Azure Synapse and AWS Redshift.
• Familiarity with tools like Airflow and Spark.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• IAT Level II Certification or higher required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in DoD environments is preferred.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Active DoD Security Clearance is a plus.
