Technical Director - Fiber Optics Expansion / Network Level 4 (NE4) - Remote

Overview

The Technical Director will be responsible for the entire technical area in the FTTH environment, leading and supporting project and construction management while ensuring quality and compliance with installations.

• Responsible for the technical area in FTTH environment (NE4)
• Lead and support project and construction management
• Ensure correct installation in multi-family homes
• Quality assurance and acceptance of installed fiber optic systems
• Commissioning, functional tests, and safety checks on-site
• Conduct and evaluate change management
• Plan and develop the technical team
• Close communication with clients and internal interfaces
• Technical documentation and final approval of projects

Requirements

• Completed technical training, ideally with a focus on network technology or fiber optics
• Several years of experience in NE4 / pipeline construction and leadership
• Solid know-how in the practical implementation of FTTH projects
• Ideally knowledge in VOB, contract law, and change management
• Strong communication, organizational talent, and solution-oriented action
• Willingness to travel as required by the project
• High responsibility, quality awareness, and reliability
• Driver's license Class B
• Very good German language skills (C1)
