Product Manager OSS - Mobile Communications - Remote

Overview

This position involves taking responsibility for product development and enhancement in the area of OSS Assurance within the telecommunications sector.

In Short

• Responsible for product development in OSS Assurance.
• Analyze and evaluate existing systems in Fault Management, Performance Management, and Service Monitoring.
• Identify and implement optimization potentials in processes, tools, and interfaces.
• Create product requirements and technical concepts, and accompany technical implementation in agile project teams.
• Close coordination with network planning, operations, IT, and other departments.
• Manage development projects in the OSS context, including test management and rollout of new releases.
• Monitor technological trends in telecommunications and OSS environments.

Requirements

• Completed degree in (business) informatics, communications engineering, telecommunications, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in product management or technical project management, preferably in telecommunications with a focus on OSS.
• Solid knowledge of OSS systems.
• Very good understanding of network architectures and mobile technologies like LTE and 5G.
• Experience in interface management and familiarity with ITIL processes.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
• Strong communication skills and very good German and good English language skills.
• Ideally, additional qualifications such as ITIL Foundation certification, Business Analysis certificates, or Agile certifications.
