Overview

A Principal Software Engineer’s role is to design, develop, and maintain critical systems and services that ensure reliability and security, working collaboratively to deliver value consistently.

In Short

Design and develop APIs and backend systems.
Collaborate with product, design, and devops teams.
Lead the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Implement and maintain deployment pipelines.
Manage team SLAs and ensure high-quality code.
Provide architectural recommendations for frontend and backend.
Analyze data to make informed decisions.
Participate in on-call rotations for application support.
Mentor and elevate other engineers and team members.

Requirements

10+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Extensive experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Rest API.
Experience with Cloud providers (AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Proven leadership in technical teams and complex system design.
Data compliance experience (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR).
