Overview

The Director of Real Estate Platform Partnerships will be responsible for sourcing third-party managed real estate inventory and will play a crucial role in accelerating the company's growth.

• Grow new partner relationships with regional real estate developers, investors, owners, and lenders.
• Leverage existing network to source introductions for portfolio expansion.
• Prospect for multifamily projects in key submarkets.
• Develop and implement strategic growth plans.
• Represent Placemakr at industry events.
• Lead presentations of financial models to investors.
• Produce quality relationships with investors and developers.
• Support contract negotiations alongside the VP.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years of experience in multifamily brokerage, investment, development, or asset management.
• Deep multifamily network in San Diego required.
• Proven ability to build a large network of senior contacts.
• Experience in a quota-bearing role with a successful deal track record.
• Ability to travel 10%-25% of the time.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• Self-starter mentality and eagerness to learn.
• Embodies company norms.
