Director of Real Estate Platform Partnerships - Remote

Overview

The Director of Real Estate Platform Partnerships at Placemakr will be responsible for sourcing third-party managed real estate inventory and expanding the Placemakr portfolio by leveraging their expertise in multifamily real estate.

In Short

• Grow new partner relationships with regional real estate developers, investors, owners, and lenders.
• Leverage existing network to source introductions and expand Placemakr’s portfolio.
• Prospect for Class A and B multifamily projects.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for growth targets.
• Represent Placemakr at industry conferences and networking events.
• Lead presentations of complex financial models to investors/developers.
• Produce quality relationships with investors/developers of ‘winnable deals’.
• Support contract negotiations alongside VP and General Counsel.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years of experience in multifamily brokerage, investment, development, or asset management.
• Existing deep multifamily network in Chicago required.
• Proven ability to build a large network of senior contacts.
• Experience in a quota-bearing or incentive-based role.
• Ability to travel 10%-25% of the time.
• Ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
• Demonstrated track record in navigating complex real estate transactions.
• Self-starter mentality with a thirst to learn quickly.
• Strong business writing and communication skills.
