Associate, Project Development - Remote

Overview

The Project Development Associate will support project development efforts for solar projects, including site assessments, permitting documents preparation, and coordination with third-party contractors.

• Support Developers and Directors in project development tasks.
• Evaluate site viability through various assessments.
• Meet with landowners and secure necessary documents.
• Assist in creating submittal documents for permitting.
• Organize project records and budgets.
• Monitor utility interconnection communications.
• Attend community events to discuss solar projects.
• Plan and document community meetings.
• Assist with various project development activities as needed.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in renewable energy development.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Ability to travel up to 1/3 of the time.
