Development Engineer III - Remote

Overview

The Development Engineer III will engage in solar PV and energy storage design engineering, supporting the development and construction of community- and utility-scale solar and storage systems. This position demands excellent communication skills and includes frequent external interaction.

Requirements

• Four-year engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in solar PV.
• Knowledge of photovoltaic system design and relevant building codes.
• Ability to evaluate site diligence documents.
• Familiarity with civil site design practices for solar.
• Knowledge of utility interconnection processes.
• Knowledge of 3-phase AC electrical system design.
• Operational knowledge of AutoCAD and PVsyst.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks.
