Project Engineer II - Remote

Overview

The Project Engineer II will support engineering and quality control efforts for Pivot’s projects during construction and commissioning and will provide technical assistance as needed for operational assets.

In Short

• Assist in the development of project quality control standards, processes, and tools.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for project execution.
• Review engineering plans and specifications for compliance.
• Identify lessons learned and value engineering opportunities.
• Support project diligence activities.
• Respond to contractor RFIs with urgency.
• Conduct on-site and remote inspections for compliance.
• Assist in reviewing operational asset production data.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in solar PV and energy storage engineering.
• Knowledge of battery energy storage system design and commissioning.
• Understanding of AC and DC electrical design.
• Familiarity with utility distribution requirements.
• Working knowledge of PVsyst.
• Knowledge of commissioning and testing standards.
• Strong skills in spreadsheets and word processing.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
