In Short

• Support on site acquisition and due diligence for renewable energy projects.
• Assist in project development and de-risking activities.
• Manage project pipeline and execute complex milestone deliverables.
• Problem-solve site, permit, and technology issues.
• Support project finance activities and ensure financial hurdles are met.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to identify opportunities.
• Assist in commercial negotiations and deal execution.
• Work with a team of subject matter experts for project support.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in project development focused on renewable energy assets.
• Based in Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area.
• Experience with full lifecycle development of renewable energy assets.
• Preferred experience with energy storage project development.
• Entry-level experience with various agreement types related to project development.
• Creative independent thinker with teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for permitting and stakeholder meetings.
