• Seeking a Lead Grid Reliability Engineer to ensure safe operations and optimized performance of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) assets.
• Responsible for adherence to NERC compliance and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and analyze operational performance, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to enhance asset performance.
• Conduct risk analyses and operational assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights.
• Lead projects related to asset management and operations.
• Partner with Field and Asset Managers to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in reliability engineering or asset management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in reliability engineering, power system analysis, or asset management.
• Knowledge of NERC reliability standards and requirements.
• Experience in the design and operation of power system assets.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
• Ability to explain compliance requirements to internal and external parties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.
• Experience with SQL and data management tools.
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products.
