Director, APAC Private Capital - Remote

Overview

As a member of the Editorial team, you will spend each day immersed in the private markets, aiming to help our customers be better investors, advisors, and market participants. The work you will do plays a direct role in the evolution of the industry!

In Short

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of analysts conducting research and analysis covering venture capital, private equity, and M&A.
• Establish research frameworks to provide independent commentary, evaluations, and forecasts.
• Develop and manage research pipeline including quarterly market updates and thematic research pieces.
• Write and edit research reports as directed by team pipeline and publishing calendar.
• Utilize proprietary PitchBook data and other resources to inform and develop actionable analysis.
• Lead cross-department collaboration including development of software-based intellectual property.
• Oversee and develop direct-to-client distribution channels for research.
• Work closely with data analysis team to identify unique datasets to support research.
• Manage and respond to inquiries from clients, press, and internal colleagues.
• Conduct quarterly and annual team performance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or related financial research.
• 7+ years of experience managing analyst teams.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts such as valuation techniques and fund metrics.
• Strong interest in M&A and private financial markets.
• Critical thinker with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in SQL and PitchBook Platform a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
