In Short

• Edit articles and newsletters for professionals in private equity and venture capital.
• Ensure stories meet editorial standards for accuracy, spelling, and grammar.
• Help prioritize daily editing assignments within a global editing team.
• Collaborate with other editors on content strategy and best practices.
• Follow and enforce editing standards across multiple content types.
• Produce and publish newsletters using PitchBook production systems.
• Edit data visualizations for accuracy and style consistency.
• Train and develop newer copy editors and early-career writers.
• Use project management tools to plan and execute publication processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for content placement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of editing experience in a financial news environment.
• Passion for private capital markets, including private equity and venture capital.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with financial markets and terminology.
• Experience with data-driven content.
• Familiarity with content management systems and project management software.
• Knowledge of Associated Press or in-house style guides.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
