Private Capital Project Specialist - Remote

Overview

INTECON, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Private Capital Project Specialist to support the AFWERX Capital Initiatives Division (RGI). This role serves as a critical interface between the DoD, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and commercial technology companies, enhancing private sector investment in AFWERX-funded companies.

In Short

• Conduct market research and investor engagement to identify capital investment opportunities.
• Develop operational and network mapping to structure program activities.
• Assist in contracting activities and documentation.
• Support business strategy development for private capital investment.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between stakeholders.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and technical documentation.
• Assist in branding and marketing materials development.
• Analyze financial data for decision-making.
• Translate complex financial topics into digestible formats.
• Manage multiple competing priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in private capital investment or technology commercialization.
• Deep understanding of venture capital and private equity.
• Experience with DoD and federal investment initiatives.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and execute investment strategies.
• Proven experience in building relationships with investors.
• Familiarity with government contracting and funding mechanisms.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
