Overview

As a Healthcare Customer Service Specialist II at Machinify, you will be the primary point of contact for healthcare providers, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries while maintaining professional relationships.

In Short

  • Respond to provider inquiries via phone, email, and written communication.
  • Maintain knowledge of contract requirements and objectives.
  • Educate providers on processes and appeal rights.
  • Conduct due diligence follow-ups on inquiries.
  • Document all communications and updates in tracking logs.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Handle complex issues and resolve provider concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and attendance.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in a call center or customer service role.
  • Preferred one year of claims processing or billing experience.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong data entry and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare and insurance terminology preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage various job duties.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Must maintain HIPAA Certification.
  • Flexibility to handle non-standard situations.
