Overview

The Medical Coding Auditor-Inpatient is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of medical coding practices within the organization, focusing on Inpatient services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management preferred.
• Active medical coding certification required.
• At least three years of experience in coding/auditing.
• Familiarity with emergency care coding preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in coding software and EHR systems.
• Ability to work remotely without on-site supervision.
