Percona is looking for a flexible and efficient Senior C/C++ Software Engineer to join its Open Source Software Development team, working on the Percona Server for MySQL and other related products from a home office.

In Short

Design and implement new features and improvements for MySQL-related products.
Diagnose and fix defects in Percona software.
Contribute to upstream projects and perform source code merges.
Develop test cases for CI deployment.
Participate in code and design reviews.
Mentor team members.
Blog and present to increase software adoption.
Engage with other departments for value-driven solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Fluent English communication skills.
3+ years of experience in C/C++ development.
Strong understanding of SQL databases, especially MySQL.
Knowledge of DBMS algorithms and concurrency control.
Experience with client/server communication systems.
Knowledge of programming languages like BASH, Perl, and Python.
Proficiency with git and source code management.
Familiarity with Open Source concepts.
