Overview

The Care Operations Specialist is responsible for being the first point of contact in a patient’s healthcare journey, ensuring they feel valued and supported through efficient management of patient information.

In Short

  • Fully remote position, Monday to Friday.
  • Full-time, Independent Contractor role.
  • 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM EST.
  • First point of contact for patient inquiries.
  • Collect and verify patient information.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
  • Respond to inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Identify process gaps and suggest workflow improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Efficient in processing patient information.
  • Warm, professional communication style.
  • Passion for patient-centered care.
  • Experience with EMR systems and scheduling platforms.
  • Ability to handle inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
