Overview

The Vice President of Product Commercialization, Acquiring will lead the acquiring strategy for our enablement sponsorship business, overseeing merchant acquiring sponsorship, ATM acquiring, and faster payment capabilities.

In Short

  • Drives revenue growth by developing new solutions and expanding use of existing products.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to set product strategy and priorities.
  • Understands the needs of Pathward partners and end users.
  • Owns strategic relationships with key third-party partners.
  • Manages the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical implementations.
  • Monitors and communicates product performance and key metrics.
  • Drives go-to-market strategy for new products and enhancements.
  • Manages product P/L and supports forecasting and annual budget planning.
  • Develops industry expertise through research and analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience; Master's preferred.
  • Typically 12+ years of experience.
  • 10+ years in payments with extensive experience in acquiring and sponsor banking.
  • Deep knowledge of Visa/Mastercard acquiring rules and faster payment solutions.
  • Proven track record in managing acquiring relationships and partner programs.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and operational requirements for sponsor banks.
  • Deep understanding of card network rules related to acquiring.
  • Experience working with the acquiring ecosystem including ISOs and payment processors.
  • Strong knowledge of interchange, settlement, chargeback, and risk management.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
