Overview

The Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, focusing on helping customers understand their security environment and ensuring they realize the value of their investment with Palo Alto Networks.

In Short

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in customer security transformation.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas through strategic account planning.
  • Build customer relationships to drive adoption of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
  • Conduct discovery to understand customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Deliver impactful technical presentations and workshops.
  • Lead technical validation efforts for assigned opportunities.
  • Promote end-to-end solutions for business value realization.
  • Invest in personal development and technical skills.
  • Cultivate relationships with key technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in Pre-Sales/Sales Engineering.
  • Skilled in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, or Cloud Security.
  • Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions preferred.
  • Ability to influence and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Experience in creating and delivering technical presentations.
  • Experience in selling or managing Network Security and SASE solutions.
  • Partnering with Customer Support for successful implementation.
  • Experience in complex sales processes.
  • This is a field sales position with travel requirements.
  • Proficient in English.
