Overview

The Solutions Consultant is responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise to customers, guiding them in their security transformation journey and ensuring value realization from their investment with Palo Alto Networks.

In Short

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas with strategic technical account plans.
  • Understand key customer business requirements and position PANW solutions accordingly.
  • Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform.
  • Conduct discovery to articulate technical and commercial imperatives.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services and Customer Success teams.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Lead technical validation efforts to ensure success in sales opportunities.
  • Promote end-to-end solutions with PANW and partner services.
  • Continuously develop technical skills and engage with the Solutions Consultant community.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Pre-Sales/Sales Engineering.
  • Skilled in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Experience in the Central Government sector in Italy is preferred.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and gain buy-in.
  • Experience in delivering technical presentations and workshops.
  • Proficient in selling, designing, or managing cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience in complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Field sales position with potential travel for in-person meetings.
  • Proficient in English.
