The Professional Services Consultant is a key role in providing deployment and configuration expertise for Palo Alto Networks solutions, ensuring the security of customer environments.

In Short

• Provide onsite and remote deployment expertise for Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for product deployment and configuration.
• Migrate customers from legacy firewall technologies to Palo Alto Networks platforms.
• Build custom security policies and application signatures.
• Provide after hours and weekend on-call support.
• Analyze logs for troubleshooting and issue identification.
• Work with Technical Assistance Center for support cases.
• Deliver projects on time according to specifications.
• Mentor clients on best practices and code upgrades.
• Maintain expertise in advanced Palo Alto Networks features.

Requirements

• Experience with network and security solutions in large environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in networking and security technologies.
• Experience with high-end firewall appliances, preferably Palo Alto Networks.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, or PCNSE.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Experience with IDS/IPS solutions.
• Deep understanding of security threats and internet protocols.
• Strong TCP/IP networking skills.
• Extensive background in LAN and WAN technologies.
