Overview

Orkes is a platform for developers to build durable, distributed event driven applications. We are seeking an accomplished and highly driven Account Executive to join Orkes, responsible for creating the strategy for and a pipeline of qualified leads for Orkes Cloud.

In Short

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach
  • Achieve daily & weekly prospecting targets
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth
  • Develop a channel sales strategy
  • Focus on accurate forecasting
  • Compress sales cycles and obtain early commitments
  • Track daily sales activities in CRM
  • Stay informed about market trends

Requirements

  • Experience in Sales and/or Business Development
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Self-starter with a record of overachieving
  • Knowledge of Sales Methodology and Process
  • Experience selling to developers and engineering leadership
