Orkes is reimagining how developers build reliable, scalable, event-driven applications without complex infrastructure. We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help us evolve and scale our platform.

In Short

Write clean, maintainable code and champion engineering best practices.
Design and implement multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and incident response.
Lead incident response and conduct post-mortems.
Optimize costs across multi-cloud deployments.
Drive technical discussions that influence the platform's future.
Work with Orkes SDKs and Java code.
5+ years of SRE/DevOps experience required.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Requirements

5+ years of SRE/DevOps experience with production systems.
Capability to code in statically compiled languages, preferably Java.
Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
Experience with REST, gRPC, and messaging systems like Kafka.
Expert-level knowledge of at least one cloud provider.
Strong programming skills in Java, Go, or similar languages.
Understanding of containerization and orchestration.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
Proficiency with monitoring tools.
Solid grasp of networking concepts.
