Overview

A highly skilled Virtual Assistant Bookkeeper is needed to support a client with ongoing bookkeeping and corrective accounting work. The role requires strong attention to detail and solid US bookkeeping experience.

In Short

  • Maintain and reconcile books using QuickBooks
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Support select full-cycle bookkeeping tasks
  • Assist with payroll and billing preparation
  • Help prepare financial reports and dashboards
  • Work on detailed and corrective bookkeeping projects as needed
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with US accounting standards

Requirements

  • US bookkeeping experience (required)
  • Proven experience handling AP, AR, and some full-cycle bookkeeping
  • Accounting degree strongly preferred
  • Experience with insurance preferred
  • High proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
  • Comfortable working on detailed, long-form, and corrective accounting tasks
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
