Overview

The Salon Business Development Manager is a field sales position responsible for driving business, brand loyalty, and recognition in a defined geographic territory through new salon business development and existing salon growth strategies.

In Short

  • Work closely with the Salon Director and inside sales team.
  • Responsibilities include relationship management and product education.
  • Meet predetermined targets for new business and existing accounts.
  • Deliver in-salon presentations and product classes.
  • Support retail segment sales through merchandising and promotions.
  • Manage a systematic meeting schedule for assigned accounts.
  • Promote and assist in execution of company-sponsored events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Salon Professional outside sales experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High sales drive and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prospect and close new business.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking.
  • Service-oriented and adaptable.
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Slack, Salesforce.
  • 75% travel required.
