Staff Accountant (Corporate) - Remote

Overview

Nutrafol is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team, focusing on accounts payable and month-end close processes.

In Short

• Assist with journal entries related to operating expenses.
• Manage schedules for accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.
• Support month-end and year-end closing tasks.
• Perform cross-departmental reconciliations.
• Maintain detailed records of costs and expenses.
• Categorize operating bank account transactions.
• Vendor reconciliation and maintaining schedules in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ensure vendor invoices are processed and communicate with vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing/retail environment.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks Desktop and Bill.com.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
