Overview

The Security Managed Services Engineer (L1) is an entry-level role responsible for providing managed services to clients, ensuring the operational integrity of their Firewall infrastructure by proactively identifying and routing incidents.

In Short

• Monitor client infrastructure and solutions.
• Identify and investigate incidents and problems.
• Provide first-line support for standard and low complexity incidents.
• Schedule maintenance activities for patching and configuration changes.
• Report and escalate incidents as necessary.
• Update existing knowledge articles and create new ones.
• Identify opportunities for work optimization and automation.
• Contribute to project work as needed.
• Ensure zero missed SLA conditions.
• Perform related tasks as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/Computing.
• Entry-level experience in security/network/data center administration.
• Basic knowledge of management agents and redundancy concepts.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
• CCNA or relevant network security certification is a plus.
• Ability to communicate across different cultures.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
