GIS Database Specialist - Remote

In Short

• Hybrid work schedule after initial training.
• Setup, edit and maintain GIS datasets for customers.
• Perform quality assurance on database updates.
• Assist with scheduling and monitoring GIS projects.
• Provide technical support for GIS software.
• Make software enhancement recommendations.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
• Experience with ArcGIS Desktop and ArcCatalog.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• 3+ years of related experience preferred.
• Moderate knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of Utility and/or Telecom industries preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Geoscience, Cartography, GIS or equivalent experience preferred.
