Localization Specialist - Dutch - Remote

Overview

NinjaOne is looking for a self-driven and detail-oriented Localization Specialist to join our in-house localization team. Reporting to the Localization Manager, this role combines translation expertise with cross-functional collaboration. As our Dutch Localization Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless translation and localization of marketing content from English into Dutch — maintaining our brand voice for the Dutch market, while adapting content for our Dutch-speaking target audience of IT experts.

In Short

• MTPE translation: Adapt machine pre-translated content to meet marketing, product, and sales-related quality expectations.
• Linguistic Excellence: Conduct research into industry-specific terminology to ensure high-quality translations within a technology-centric SaaS business environment.
• Quality Assurance: Own the end-to-end localization process, including SEO optimization, UI/UX review, LQA and adaptation workflows, and asset finalization processes.
• Quality Adaptation: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments.
• Terminology Management: Build and maintain glossaries and style guides for linguistic consistency.
• Localization Best Practices: Utilize localization knowledge to deliver local experiences across asset creation workflows.
• Review & Automation: Optimize AI-powered translation output.
• Perform other localization-related duties as needed.

Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Excellent writing skills in Dutch with the ability to adapt highly technical content.
• Prior localization experience as a translator, interpreter, or in a similar role.
• Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interest in IT topics.
• Proactive mindset focused on target audience expectations.
• Experience with Translation Management Systems or CAT-tools (e.g., memoQ) is a bonus.
• Experience with SEO best practices is a bonus.
• Experience with WordPress or other Content Management Systems is a bonus.
