Area Vice President, Solutions Engineering - Remote

Overview

The Area Vice President, Solutions Engineering will drive NinjaOne’s growth across the enterprise market by leading a team of Solutions Engineers, defining technical engagement models, and influencing deal strategy with enterprise customers.

In Short

• Own the full pre-sales technical experience across enterprise space in North America.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership.
• Lead and mentor Solutions Engineers while remaining hands-on in strategic deals.
• Identify repeatable technical patterns and create scalable pre-sales playbooks.
• Partner with onboarding and Customer Success teams.
• Support technical content review within RFIs and customer evaluations.
• Serve as a strategic voice between Sales and Product.
• Build and maintain reusable technical assets.
• Represent NinjaOne at regional industry events.
• Contribute to the future of the Enterprise SE function.

Requirements

• 10+ years in pre-sales engineering or solutions architecture.
• Experience leading Solutions Engineers in complex sales cycles.
• Strong understanding of IT operations and customer evaluation processes.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
• Hands-on experience with RMM tools and ITSM platforms.
• Scripting experience in PowerShell, JavaScript, or VBScript.
• Experience with Salesforce, Jira, or equivalent systems.
• Strong communication skills with executive presence.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; technical certifications are a plus.
• High emotional intelligence and customer-first mindset.
