Overview

The Support Specialist role at NIQ involves providing high-quality technical support to users of Production systems, with opportunities to learn and work on various technologies in a cloud-based environment.

In Short

  • Provide in-depth technical support to internal and external users.
  • Analyze and document production incidents to facilitate resolutions.
  • Execute root cause analysis (RCA) for incident resolution.
  • Attend incident management calls and report status on production issues.
  • Optimize on-call rotations and update documentation.
  • Automate processes for site reliability.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with new product deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to interface with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical support or related areas.
  • Strong fundamentals in application support and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in SQL, UNIX scripting, and Python.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and cloud technologies.
  • Sound SDLC skills, preferably in an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Ability to work extended hours with a rotating on-call schedule.
