Overview

The Producing Area Sales Manager at Newfi Lending is responsible for identifying, developing, and mentoring a team of Wholesale Account Executives while establishing and maintaining broker relationships to drive mortgage lending opportunities.

In Short

• Identify and mentor a team of Wholesale Account Executives.
• Develop and maintain a network of qualified business relationships.
• Promote Newfi’s wholesale mortgage loan programs.
• Responsible for personal production in applications and funding.
• Make sales presentations to newly approved brokers.
• Maintain communication with brokers and account executives.
• Identify performance issues with brokers.
• Target specific geographical areas for new brokers.
• Hire and train Account Executives.
• Additional duties as assigned by SVP.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of wholesale lending experience.
• Experience overseeing a team of wholesale account executives.
• Strong knowledge of the mortgage market.
• Ability to excel in a competitive environment.
• Strong relationship building and time management skills.
• Knowledge of underwriting and closing procedures.
• Ability to facilitate accurate loan applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with mortgage lending software is a plus.
