Overview

Newfi Lending is hiring a REMOTE Mortgage Closer to oversee the pipeline of loans through the closing process and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

In Short

• Oversees pipeline of loans through the closing process
• Balances Closing Disclosure and reviews file for closing package
• Reviews signed loan docs for proper execution
• Ensures all loans fund as scheduled
• Works with investors and processors on post-funding conditions
• Prepares perfect funding packages for capital markets
• Communicates with internal and external partners
• Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Closing and Funding
• Knowledge of TRID regulations is essential

Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience in Closing and Funding
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws for compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of lending guidelines for multiple states is a plus
