Conditions Specialist - Remote

Overview

Newfi is growing again! We are looking for a remote Mortgage Conditions Specialist who will be a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives.

In Short

• Perform complex data and document validation.
• Troubleshoot third party orders (title, appraisal, etc.).
• Handle complex calls, emails, or chat sessions.
• Complete appraisal eligibility tasks.
• Evaluate loan applications for compliance with product guidelines.
• Interact with multiple departments to expedite processing.
• Demonstrate alignment with the organization’s culture and values.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience as a loan processor or Junior Underwriter.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proven track record of delivering timely and accurate information.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management skills.
• Highly proficient communicator, both written and oral.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream applications.
• Financial Services and mortgage industry experience preferred.
• General understanding of applicable regulations.
