In Short

Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices via phone, email, and other communication channels.
Collaborate with customers to resolve payment delays, disputes, and discrepancies in a timely manner.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to facilitate payment arrangements and ensure compliance.
Identify high-risk accounts and escalate collection issues as necessary.
Track and reconcile customer payments to the accounts receivable ledger.
Prepare and maintain accounts receivable aging reports for management review.
Support audits by providing accurate records and documentation as needed.
Identify opportunities to streamline collections and AR processes, implementing best practices.
Document the collections and AR processes and assist the Controller in ad-hoc reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve billing and collection workflows.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent professional experience.
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
Experience in Salesforce, NetSuite (Billing360), and Microsoft Office Suite.
